Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
GOTAFE entry requirements
Complete a Basic Key Skills Builder (BKSB)an online test to ensure the required literacy & numeracy levels for the course are met.
Undertake a Pre-training review interview to ensure the course suits their needs and aspirations, and that they are likely to complete the course successfully.
Completion of a Certificate III in Information Technology or prior experience in IT would be an advantage.
An interview with the Course Coordinator may also be required If a student does not have a Certificate III or prior experience in this field.
Technical requirements
- OS: Windows 10.
- RAM: 8GB minimum prefer 16GB.
- HDD: 256GB Minimum.
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Athlon X4 740 (or equivalent CPU/processor capable of virtulization).
- Headset & webcam for virtual classes & audio/visual assessment tasks if required.
- A portable storage device such as an external hard drive, and/or at least one 32 GB USB thumb drive (essential for storing virtual machines on).
