Certificate III in Security Operations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Certificate III consists of 8 core units and 6 base line units of which 2 units can be recognised prior learning from relevant packages.
Certificate III also has specialised units which require intensive instruction for example baton, handcuffs, firearms and cash in transit.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Current holder of an ACT Security Licence.
- ASEC recommends that you have at least 6 months experience in the security industry before commencing Certificate III.
- For students wishing to work as an armed guard in the cash in transit industry you are required to complete firearms competencies and cash in transit units.
