Kick start your automotive career as a parts interpreter or vehicle salesperson with this practical qualification. Parts interpreting covers a wide range of industry areas including light automotive, motorcycles, heavy commercial vehicles, outdoor power equipment, boat chandlery, mobile plant equipment, farm machinery, and paint and panel repair.
According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, demand for motor vehicle and vehicle parts salespeople is expected to grow in the near future. This large occupation is expected to create around 31,000 job openings over the next five years.
Throughout this course you will receive training in sales and marketing including merchandising and promotion, interacting with and building customer relations, and responding to customer enquiries and complaints. You will also learn about warehousing operations and how to select and supply automotive parts.
Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as a parts interpreter in an automotive retail outlet or mechanical service and repair business.
