Nationally Recognised Higher EducationHave you studied a Diploma in one of the following areas? Health, allied health, nursing, community services, social services or early childhood education.
If so, that Diploma counts as the first year of your Psychology Degree.
Progress your career in psychology, counselling, and mental health through advanced social, community and research psychology skills with entry from your Diploma. Chisholm Psychology programs use the pathway Degree model developed within the Higher Education College, allowing entry into accredited Psychology programs through non-traditional pathways.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study
- A completed Diploma or above in a relevant discipline.
Applicants with higher education study
- A complete or incomplete higher education qualification (minimum 1 year full-time passed)
International Entry Requirements
- A completed Diploma or above in a relevant discipline; or
- A completed or incomplete higher education qualification (minimum 1 year full-time passed); and
- English: Academic IELTS 6.5 with no individual band below 6, or Chisholm recognised equivalent; and
- Must be at least 18 years of age at enrolment.
