This course prepares you for a career in many fields relating to the promotion of health at individual and community levels through the improvement of the food supply.
You’ll study subjects such as the chemistry of food, human physiology, food analysis, food safety, food preparation, food product development, the impact of nutrition on human health, disease and sports performance, and the social and public health aspects of nutrition.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
University study
Successful completion of 2 units at an Australian University or Open Universities Australia (OUA).
Murdoch Institute of Technology (MIT) courses
- Murdoch University Preparation Course with a minimum of 50% in every subject OR
- MUPC (1 Trimester) OR
- Foundation Studies Course with a minimum of 50% in every subject.
Enabling courses (after Year 12)
OnTrack Flex, OnTrack Sprint or K-Track at Murdoch University. OR
An enabling or bridging course at another Australian university.
