Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resource Management)

Nationally Recognised Higher Education

We spend one-third of our life at work, so understanding how to make work meaningful is vital to our wellbeing. Human resource (HR) management is a role where you can help others, by helping people derive meaning from work and understanding the role of work in their happiness. It is about achieving the best for employee wellbeing, performance and job satisfaction – and it is fundamental to a company meeting its business goals.

HR management is increasingly relevant in the 21st-century era of automation. For example, many organisations now need HR managers to help with the workplace teaming of humans and machines – defining roles and responsibilities and devising the system for communication and collaboration.

The future of work is certainly changing fast, and there will always be demand for HR leaders that can ensure an organisation has the policies and systems in place that help staff to flourish and achieve to their potential.

In this course, the areas of HR management that you’ll gain skills in include: recruitment and selection, remuneration, performance, training and development, conflict management, HRM metrics and analytics and more.
