Truck Mechanic

A Truck Mechanic performs servicing and repair work on trucks and other heavy vehicles. You might inspect vehicles to determine problem issues and replace parts when needed. Truck Mechanics may also carry out scheduled maintenance as required. Truck Mechanics may be employed by a specialist mechanical workshop or work for a truck company to service their fleet.

Truck Mechanics must have strong technical skills and be able to work with a range a heavy vehicles. You’ll need to have good attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. Truck Mechanics must be good problem solvers and be able to manage their time well. It’s important you can communicate clearly and work as part of a team.
