The AUR31120 Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology is part of a trade apprenticeship for heavy vehicle diesel mechanics. Over 4 years (working under a qualified tradesperson) you will learn how to inspect and service diesel engines — as well as diagnose and repair fuel injection, air braking, cooling, suspension and steering systems.
