Sports Development Officer

A Sports Development Officer promotes participation in a particular sport or activity. You might conduct sessions for the community to attend or work with sporting clubs to improve member numbers and retention. Sports Development Officers may focus on skills development, general participation or higher level player abilities. You might provide specialised coaching for experienced participants.

Sports Development Officers should have strong technical skills in their chosen activity and be passionate about promoting it in the community.
