Nail Technician

Nail Technicians perform manicures, pedicures, and light massage as well as apply acrylic and gel nails. They are skilled in painting nail art and may also embed gems and rhinestones into nail designs.

As a nail technician you could open your own nail salon or mobile nail clinic. You might also be employed at a beauty and hairdressing salon providing complimentary services. Nail technicians also sell retail products (nail varnishes, lotions, and takeaway treatments), process financial transactions, sanitise and maintain equipment.
