Landscape Architect

A Landscape Architect designs outdoor spaces such as community parks, large residential gardens and commercial garden areas. You’ll liaise with clients to determine their needs and come up with plans, sketches and costings. Landscape Architects may source supplies and equipment and coordinate landscape projects.

Landscape Architects should be creative and passionate about outdoor spaces. It’s important you can communicate well and understand the individual designs of your clients. Landscape Architects should be organised and able to manage several landscaping projects at once. You’ll need to be able to work as a team and have excellent problem solving abilities.
