Junior Telecommunications Technician

Junior Telecommunications Technicians assist qualified technicians install and maintain fibre optic cables and other telecommunications equipment including network conduit, ariels, antennae, and data transmission appliances. They mainly carry out outdoor labouring work under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson.

As a Junior Telecommunications Technician you’ll be digging, lifting, carrying, cutting and laying cable. A typical work day might involve climbing ladders, driving to a remote location, and working from a roof-top or ceiling.
