Digital Animator

A Digital Animator uses a range of technologies to produce animated scenes for use in various media. Your animations may be used online or for television or film productions. Digital Animators may prepare a message such as in an advertisement or tell a story such as an illustrated movie. You may be involved in all stages of the production process from discussing ideas and creating storyboards to preparing animation sequences and editing the finished product.

Digital Animators need to be able to work with a larger production team and should be able to follow directions and communicate well with both colleagues and clients. It’s important that you are skilled in a range of digital software and can work to meet deadlines. Digital Animators need to have an excellent visual imagination and should be able to come up with creative and unique ideas.
