Civil Designer

A Civil Designer is employed to oversee civil engineering work such as roads, utilities and pipelines. You’ll design civil projects and make key decisions about materials and construction methods. Civil Designers examine building sites and take into account factors such as earth and rock formations.

Civil Designers should have excellent analytical skills and strong problem solving abilities. It’s important you are safety focused and can adapt your skills to suit a range of circumstances. Civil Designers must be able to follow correct procedures and work as part of a team. You’ll need to be able to manage your time well in this role.
