Breastfeeding Counsellors might visit clients in their own homes or host health clinics. You might take on this role as a volunteer or in a paid role.

Breastfeeding Counsellors should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well with new parents from a range of backgrounds. It’s important you can listen to their concerns and understand individual circumstances. Breastfeeding Counsellors should be up to date with current breastfeeding techniques.
