Certificate IV in Breastfeeding Education
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Breastfeeding counsellors and breastfeeding educators undertake the 10998NAT Certificate IV in Breastfeeding Education during their training. This certificate is a nationally recognised course completed as part of a volunteer traineeship. The standard of knowledge and skills delivered in training to be a breastfeeding counsellor or breastfeeding educator is at the competencies described for Certificate IV courses under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
The skills, knowledge and attributes developed in this certificate not only prepare trainees for their volunteer work in the Association but also build important foundation skills.
