An Asbestos Supervisor oversees the safe removal of friable and non-friable asbestos containing materials. You might work on residential or commercial buildings or at a range of worksites. Asbestos Supervisors ensure staff are following compliance issues and working safely to conduct inspections, monitor sites and remove and dispose of asbestos containing materials.

Asbestos Supervisors must have strong leadership abilities and a strong focus on safety. It’s important you understand current legislation and can follow correct procedures. Asbestos Supervisors must be able to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues and be able to complete relevant documentation.
