This course is the pathway to zoo keeping. Students will further develop their knowledge in animal husbandry through a combination of regular theory lessons and practical experience at Taronga Zoo Sydney. Graduates can seek employment as a zoo keeper, or animal keeper in aquariums and wildlife parks.

This course will give you an entry point into the animal care industry. This course enables you to develop the skills and knowledge required for the care and maintenance of animals including handling, feeding, grooming, health and hygiene practices.

This qualification provides you with a flexible career pathway to work for a wide variety of employers across many sectors of the tourism industry. This course includes a combination of online delivery plus onsite days at Taronga Zoo Sydney.

This qualification provides a pathway to work in many tourism and travel industry sectors and for a diverse range of employers including travel agencies, tour wholesalers, tour operators, attractions, cultural and heritage sites, and any small tourism business.

This qualification provides a pathway to work in a range of job roles in the tourism industry in organisations with an Indigenous focus. These include tour operators or operators of a site or cultural or heritage center. Individuals may have a very specific role, as an Australian Indigenous person or other individual approved by local elders to share aspects of their culture with visitors in a formal or informal way.
