Vocational Education and Training
All Queensland Real Estate Training College Courses
Traineeships are an excellent pathway for further vocational education leading to a nationally recognised qualification for the employee and providing Commonwealth government training incentives for the employer.
The traineeship offered by QRETC encompasses the full real estate agent’s licence course and can be completed over 24 months for a full time employee or a longer period for a part-time employee. QRETC can arrange and co-ordinate all the necessary government documents to establish the traineeship.
This traineeship will provide the trainee with the necessary competencies to work effectively in the real estate industry performing a range of duties relating to sales, property management, and general management activities. A pathway can be structured under this traineeship for a learner to acquire the necessary competency units to become registered as a salesperson, and to work towards becoming a licensed real estate agent, auctioneer or resident letting agent. There is no minimum age limit for commencing this traineeship. This allows for more flexible employment options for business owners who wish to provide school leavers with workplace experience through performing activities that do not require the learner to be a registered salesperson. Trainees performing sales or property management activities must be 18 years of age to be registered as a salesperson.
