The purpose of this course is to provide the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Students will develop the skills and knowledge to respond to an emergency situation, perform CPR procedures, communicate details of an incident and review an incident. They will learn how to manage, in line with the ARC guidelines, unconscious casualties, both breathing and non-breathing, as well as how to hand them over to emergency services.

This course will provide participants with the knowledge, training and practical skills to effectively perform the role and responsibilities of workplace fire warden.

This Fire Warden training course is suitable for companies and organisations that require their employees to be responsible for participating in the preparation of workplace emergency procedures; alerting and reporting potential workplace emergencies; evaluating the need to evacuate a work area; preparing for an evacuation; and assisting people who may require support in accordance with workplace emergency procedures.

Prepare To Work Safely In The Construction Industry (White Card) is available at our modern facility, run weekly at Darra in a clean and COVID safe classroom environment.

To be certified for any construction site in Australia, you must hold a White Card. Australian regulations state that you must complete all necessary Work Health & Safety (WHS) induction training before you can enter a construction site or commence construction activity.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights in the resources and infrastructure industries.

It applies to those working in operational roles. They generally work under supervision to undertake a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and take responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.

This course enables students to learn how to operate a forklift truck and, upon successful completion, apply for a high-risk work license.

Our forklift license classes take place inside our comfortable and air-conditioned facilities, keeping you out of the rain and sun. With a forklift license, you’ll become more employable in many industries with the potential for more job opportunities, wage increases, or promotions.

This nationally recognised course covers the theoretical and practical aspects of working at height and will assist you in developing safe work method statements and risk assessments. All workers who conduct or supervise tasks while at height will find this course beneficial to workplace safety. This course will enable you to comply with current WHS legislation, and successful trainees will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
