This HDS VET Course for Secondary Students has been designed to complement and build on existing Year 12 Senior Secondary Certificate of Education subjects in creative disciplines, and allows enthusiastic students to further develop practical skills and insight into the design industries.

Successful completion of CUA30715 counts towards the Year 12 Senior Secondary Certificate of Education and appears on the student’s Record of Achievement. However, it does not count in the calculation of the ATAR.

This is a nationally recognised and accredited training course that teaches the concepts of graphic design and its application in the contemporary design world. Taught by passionate tertiary and industry trained professionals, you will learn how to use skills, tools and processes to produce visual communication through creative graphic images for print reproduction and digital media.

Certificate III in Individual Support reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reasons.

Work responsibilities in this field involve using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs.

The Diploma of Interior Design course builds on the foundations of Certificate IV in Interior Decoration. Following from residential design, the Diploma of Interior Design continues work and study across into commercial projects. The Diploma moves deeper into specifications, CAD, joinery, architectural styles and design theory.
