This qualification reflects the role of entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services. Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs.
At this level, work takes place under the direction of others and supervision may be direct or indirect. Work may take place in a range of community.
Learn moreThis course provides participants with the confidence and competence required to perform CPR on an unconscious casualty. The training course is taught according to the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This course takes personnel through both the theory of why we do CPR and many practical exercises that emphasise the ‘how’ we perform CPR.
Learn moreThis unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty and applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. Many practical exercises are included as part of the training.
