About Empowerdance

As a studio, when we first set out to deliver National Qualifications in our own studios, there were simply no materials out there or providers who were willing to share. It was a disappointing dead end street.
So… we set our sights on creating our own courses! It took our team 3 years of working full time and often on weekends to become a Registered Training Organisation of our own, which had us creating our very own assessments that we knew the students would love engaging in.
In 2010 after testing and trialling our work and after much engagement with industry and students, we began delivering our courses in our studios.
In 2017 we realized that there were studio owners out there, who just like us, were wanting to take their studio to the next level by offering industry relevant, fun to deliver and engaging Nationally Recognised Courses… and so we decided to share our courses… because, sharing is caring right?
Since launching our partnership program we have been working alongside studios and schools who know that the successful future of the dance industry relies heavily on qualifications.
Currently we have our courses running in 7 States and Territories, with over 70 schools and studios delivering our material to their students, who (by the way) are loving what they are learning, and are using it to get paid work in the industry.
