It’s a hands-on qualification (completed over 12 months) that will teach you how to greet and prepare clients for their visit to the salon, provide shampoo and basin services, braid hair, and work as part of the salon team. Become a make-up artist with the Certificate III in Make-Up (SHB30215). This nationally recognised training course will equip you with the skills you need to work with beauticians, hairdressers, photographers, department stores, media organisations, and fashion houses. Over 4 months you’ll learn how to apply cosmetics and tanning products — as well as deliver key salon services (eyelashes, eyebrows etc).

A Certificate II in Retail Cosmetics (SHB20116) prepares you for work in the cosmetics section of a chemist, salon, or department store. Over 8 months you will learn how to help customers choose beauty products, apply makeup, setup merchandise displays, and carry out financial transactions. Graduate with a nationally recognised qualification and ready to work.

The Certificate III in Beauty Services from Elysian Institute provides students with broad skills and knowledge for success in a range of beauty industry roles.
