This Qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of Early Childhood settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s well-being, learning and development. Depending on the setting, educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously.
Entry requirements; completion of Year 10 with sound English, completion of a online student orientation test and completion of a student evaluation on language, literacy and numeracy.
Learn moreThis Qualification covers workers in Children’s services who are responsible for planning, implementing and managing programs in early childhood services, in accordance with licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements. At this level: Workers have responsibility for supervision of other staff and volunteers. In most states it is the highest Qualification required at Director or service manager level for Children’s services centre-based care.

Learn moreThis qualification reflects the role of workers who are middle managers or managers across a range of community sector organisations. These people work independently and report to executive management, directors or boards of management. They undertake a range of functions requiring the application of knowledge and skills to achieve results in line with the organisation’s goals and strategic directions.
At this level, workers have responsibility for planning and monitoring service delivery, recruitment and performance management of other paid or unpaid workers, managing risk and contributing to continuous improvement within the scope of their specific role. This may include management of a specific programs or project, or broader management of a community-based organisation, early childhood education service, not-for-profit organisation or community centre.
To gain entry into CHC62015 Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management candidates must; hold a qualification at Diploma level or above relevant to work in the community sector, hold a “Blue Card” and will be required to provide AIECS with a copy of this, completion of a student evaluation on language, literacy and numeracy. Also, Students must be employed in an approved Early Childhood Service and Setting to undertake practical assessment and demonstration of skills. An approved Early Childhood service must be registered on www.mychild.gov.au and have received a minimum rating of “meeting” under the NQF, or are waiting to undergo the assessment and rating process.

This course includes and online theory component and 2 hour face-to-face training class, with all practical training and assessment completed in-class under the guidance of our highly experienced accredited First Aid Trainers. Attendees will have the opportunity to demonstrate skills in an environment that provides realistic in-depth, scenarios and simulations to assess candidates’ skills and knowledge.
