Truck Licence – Heavy Rigid (auto & non-syncro)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)If you want a career in driving a heavy rigid vehicle, and want to upgrade your truck licence, then ACE Training’s Heavy Rigid Licence is the course for you. Learn how to efficiently and safely control all vehicle functions required by VicRoads. This truck licence will allow you to drive a heavy rigid vehicle 8 tonnes GVM or above with 3 or more axles. Our trainers will provide a personal one-on-one lesson on your choice of Automatic or Non-Synchro Trucks.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Applicants must have held or have held an Australian driver’s licence for at least 2 years – including those on “P” plates.
- Applicants must pass an eyesight test.
- Applicants must be familiar with the VicRoads Truck and Bus handbook before the course commences.
- Applicants must meet the entry criteria for medical and physical standards
