The TLILIC2016 Licence To Drive A Heavy Rigid Vehicle is required for driving heavy ridged vehicles in Australia as per Safe Work Australia. A heavy rigid vehicle is a bus or truck, including a prime mover or mobile crane, with over 8 tonnes Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) and 3 or more axles. This unit covers the skills and knowledge needed to control vehicle functions, monitor traffic, manage vehicle conditions and performance, and handle hazardous situations effectively.
