Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The First Aid Course HLTAID012 is a comprehensive training program designed to equip participants with essential skills to respond effectively in various emergency situations. This course, also known as “Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting,” focuses on the unique needs and scenarios encountered in educational and childcare environments.
Participants will learn how to manage common injuries and illnesses, perform CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including asthma, anaphylaxis, choking, bleeding control, and managing shock, ensuring that attendees are well-prepared to handle emergencies involving children and adults alike.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a nationally recognized certification valid for three years, a critical credential for professionals working in childcare, education, and related fields. By completing this course, individuals not only comply with legal and workplace requirements but also gain the confidence and competence to make a significant difference in emergency situations, potentially saving lives and improving outcomes for those in their care.

When completing your Forklift Licence Course with Start Training, or any of our other courses, you can be confident that you will be provided with the training necessary to successfully complete your course without having to worry about excess or hidden fees.
At Start Training all your training materials are provided free of charge. Once you have confirmed your spot you will be provided with a range of learning materials to assist you with your course including a student handbook, workbooks and example questions. These materials are provided electronically to students but if you prefer a hard copy please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with one for a small fee.
