Are you a coffee connoisseur? Why not turn your love for coffee into a career as a qualified barista with Icon Training Academy’s SITHFAB005 Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee! 

This nationally accredited short course will provide you with the essential skills and practical knowledge required to confidently extract and serve espresso coffee beverages using commercial espresso machines and grinders. Students will learn under the guidance of the very best qualified and professional trainers.  

This short course also includes the pre-requisite unit SITXFSA001 Use Hygienic Pracitces for Food Safety. This comprehensive module covers everything from the history of coffee through to grinding, brewing and milk chemistry.  

Within this short course students will learn the essentials of food hygiene as well as gain industry knowledge in areas including how to advise customers on coffee beverages, select and grind coffee beans, prepare and assess espresso coffee beverages and how to use, maintain and clean espresso machines and grinders.
