Nationally Recognised Higher EducationOpen the door to senior management and become eligible for associate membership of three accounting professional bodies: CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and The Institute of Public Accountants.
In this program you will:
- Open doors to work in senior management roles and build a top-flight career. You will qualify to work in roles such as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Business Strategist, a Chartered Accountant, or as a key professional in the fast-growing wealth management sector.
- Cover contemporary business and accounting issues.
- Explore accounting fundamentals, informatics, managerial finance, financial reporting, corporate reporting, issues in auditing practice, tax law and practice, and the principles of economics and commercial law.

Entry to the Master of Professional Accounting program will normally require:
- Completion of a recognised Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent
Additional entry information
- Students who have completed a Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in the same discipline may be eligible to receive credit of up to 48 units (4 courses)
English language requirements
- IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in each subtest
- TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 85 with minimum score of 21 for writing
- Pearson Test of English (PTE): Overall score of 58 with no subscore less than 54
- Language of Instruction English (LOI)*:
- Minimum 2 year full-time tertiary study, or 2 year full-time other post-secondary study where the language of instruction is English, successfully completed in the last 5 years in one of the of the following countries:
- Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom and United States of America
- C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency: Overall score of 177 or above with no less than 169 in each skill
- USC's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 2: Successful completion
- USC's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 3: Successful completion
