After completing this course, you can apply to become a member of professional accounting bodies, including CPA Australia, and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, if your goal is to work in professional accounting. In your research projects you’ll work with academics, other students and our industry partners, which include government agencies, mining companies, accounting firms, IT service firms and real estate companies.

Entry requirements

Recognised Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent training, or professional training. Students who have completed a degree with an accounting major from an Australian university will not be considered for admission.

English Requirements

You must meet a minimum standard in English to study at Murdoch, which for most courses can be demonstrated by providing evidence that you have completed Year 11 and 12 in Australia at any level if you are a domestic student, or through either English proficiency tests, university preparation courses, English language courses, previous tertiary study or vocational education.
