Master of Cyber Security

We are increasingly relying upon networked applications for assessing information and making critical business decisions, so it is critical for individuals, enterprises and governments to be able to secure cyberspace from attacks to allow them to effectively conduct their business.
This program is designed to provide a pathway for information technology professionals to progress their careers in the cyber security domain. In this program, students develop a comprehensive understanding of network security, system security and security theory.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
The Master of Cyber Security is a 160 unit postgraduate qualification.
- 160 units (2 years): Bachelor Degree or higher in any discipline AND minimum 1 year relevant work experience. Applicants with relevant professional experience may be considered for up to 40 units of RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning).
- 80 units (1 year): Bachelor Degree or higher in a relevant discipline*
