Licence to Erect, Alter and Dismantle Scaffolding Basic Level
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)A scaffolding course with Major Training Group is a nationally recognised qualification that will give you the skills to safely construct support frameworks in different working environments. This is the basic level to give you the starter construction skills that you can use across QLD and other states of the country.
This course introduces the roles and responsibilities of a basic scaffolder covering preparation and planning, inspection of equipment and use of a safety harness, construction, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Be able to read and write basic English (Workplace Health and Safety requirement)
- Pass a language, literacy & numeracy assessment (LLN)
- Minimum 18 years of age (Workplace Health and Safety requirement)

- Wear steel-capped or safety boots on site; sun protection Hat, long-sleeved shirt, and pants – are also recommended
