Graduate Certificate in Information Technology
Nationally Recognised Higher EducationIf you're looking to develop your information technology discipline knowledge, this is the course for you. You will learn to employ existing IT methods and approaches to address discipline-specific problems. Your design and problem solving skills will result in useful and usable IT solutions. Completing this course in as little as six-months full-time, or one year part-time, you will be able to provide real value in the workplace immediately. You will graduate with the personal skills required to continue your development as an IT professional.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
To be eligible for entry, you must have one of:
- A recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline; OR
- A recognised diploma (or higher qualification) in information technology followed by at least two years full-time (or equivalent) professional work experience in the information technology field; OR
- At least five years full-time (or equivalent) professional work experience in the information technology field.
You must have one of:
- A recognised bachelor degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) score of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale); OR
- A recognised bachelor honours, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, master, or doctorate degree in any discipline area with a minimum grade point average (GPA) score of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale); OR
- A recognised bachelor degree in any discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) score of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale) followed by at least three years full-time (or equivalent) work in a relevant field.
English Language Requirements
- Cambridge English Score:No score below 185.
- IELTS Academic:No score below 7.0
- TOEFL iBT:Overall [98], Listening [24], Reading [24], Writing [27], Speaking [23]
- Pearson PTE (Academic):No score below 65
