Food Handling Skill Set

This skill set equips individuals for work in food handling to ensure food safety.

It is for entry-level food handling personnel working in tourism, hospitality, and catering organisations with permanent or temporary kitchens premises, and smaller food preparation or bar areas.

This skill set is nationally recognised and covers the food hygiene requirements for those working with food in the Hospitality industry. The course covers safe food handling, personal hygiene, food hazards, cross-contamination, storage, and cleaning.
