First Aid Responder Course
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Vertical Horizonz Australia First Aid Course develops the necessary skills to act quickly and effectively to accidents and emergencies. Our training is invaluable to trainees to perform first response techniques in the workplace, in public, or at home.
This course trains learners in a practical way the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in the workplace. Learners will be trained in their responsibilities as first-aid responders. We offer courses in Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel, as well as First Aid and CPR.
They will be trained to recognise the signs and symptoms of a number of medical emergencies, assess a casualty and respond in appropriate ways, following the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. The use of CPR and an automated external defibrillator (AED) is embedded into the training.
