Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.

There are 5 pre-requisite units that must be completed in full (deemed competent) before commencing units in the BSB51319 Diploma of Work Health and Safety:

  • BSBWHS412 Assist with workplace compliance with WHS laws
  • BSBWHS413 Contribute to implementation and maintenance of WHS consultation and participation process
  • BSBWHS414 Contribute to WHS risk management
  • BSBWHS415 Contribute to implementing WHS management systems
  • BSBWHS416 Contribute to workplace incident response

Acceptable documents to demonstrate competency include:

  • Statement of attainment
  • Record of result
  • An official USI transcript

If the student is unable to provide one of the acceptable documents listed to demonstrate their competent achievement of the 5 pre-requisite units, Techskill Academy can assist the candidate in meeting these entry requirements through our course offering of the BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety which contains the 5 pre-requisite units (this program is available through full training and recognition of prior learning).
