The Diploma of Music is a pathway program designed to help you transition into the Bachelor of Music. You'll develop foundational knowledge and skills in a supportive learning environment, setting you up for success in your future studies.

Study with a community of like-minded peers as you learn from award-winning music educators and benefit from the Queensland Conservatorium's strong partnerships with local cultural institutions.

You'll study academic foundations courses to develop a strong foundation in topics like exploring music, performance study, 'my life as a musician', as well as studio courses, and where relevant, Conservatorium Ensemble Studies, with additional support and access to a dedicated First Year Coordinator and Peer-Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) run by high-achieving students.
