This post-trade qualification equips you with the knowledge you need to take your electrical engineering skills to the next level. You will develop competencies in a range of areas including how to develop, select, commission, maintain and diagnose faults or malfunctions on advanced electrical equipment and systems.

You will also be able to solve electrical problems with complex circuits in a variety of industrial installations in the mineral processing and oil and gas industry. This course covers ethical and responsible application of mathematics, science, engineering techniques; standards and codes of practice; engineering design practices; and the supervision and management of physical, human and financial resources in engineering.

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
  • a current Unrestricted Electricians Licence or its equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory or
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician - UEE30820
