The AHC51120 Diploma of Conservation and Ecosystem Management is ideal for individuals working in technical or operational positions within conservation and resource management. This includes supervisors, managers, consultants, and specialised job roles.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Tocal College prefers that students have either attained a Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or have sufficient industry experience. A student with sufficient industry experience possesses an extensive background (acquired through voluntary or paid work) in conservation and/or ecology. This experience equips them with the necessary practical and theoretical knowledge to conduct independent research and work effectively in environmental contexts.
All students must have:
- Access to land suitable with native vegetation to develop natural area restoration projects (approx.. 10 acres or greater)
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or New Zealand citizenship
- Adequate language, literacy and numeracy skills to complete the course
- Basic to intermediate computing skills, and reliable internet speed.
- Basic tools, health and safety gear and personal protective equipment (PPE) for self-guided fieldwork.
