Industry-experienced educators will help you develop the skills and knowledge required to provide beauty therapy treatments and services which includes facial massage, body massage, hair removal, facials, spa treatments, lash extensions and brow treatments, nail technology services, makeup and aromatherapy.
The Diploma of Beauty Therapy qualifies you to become a professional beauty therapist. Strengthen your knowledge on a range of beauty disciplines and choose an area to specialise in. Travel the world with transferable skills or use your knowledge to launch your own salon business.
The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is also an ideal course for hairdressers or makeup artist wishing to increase their skill base.
Our course content selection provides you with the knowledge, attitude and skills to work in the beauty industry as a professional beauty therapist. From day one you will develop a broad range of competencies, opening doors to the beauty industry – from Body treatments and specialised facials, Lash, brow and waxing services, Designing and applying make-up, Manicure and pedicure services. Even build your own beauty business. The beauty care industry is one of the fastest growing consumer markets in Australia and the number of beauty therapists is expected to grow very strongly with around 29,000 job openings in 2022. There is also demand for beauty therapists to join other industries with cruise ships providing wonderful opportunities for travel, experience and growth.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
No formal education requirements to enrol in course.
All courses at The Makeup Technicians are taught in English. Applicants will need to show evidence of suitable English proficiency for the course they have chosen. Students must have a minimum English language level of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
