Diploma of Agriculture
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is designed to develop the planning and management skills of people currently working in the rural industry managing enterprise production units, and/or employees including farm owners, managers and agricultural service providers.
This course has a strong focus on practical skills and hands-on learning in a real-work setting, you will develop a broad range of advanced skills and knowledge. Learning outcomes are tailored to the individual, their work environment and career path ways.

Traineeship
Work and gain real-world experience while earning a qualification.
Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Have completed year 12 and provide TasTAFE with a copy of your Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education awarded to you by an agency or authority of a State or Territory; OR,
- Provide TasTAFE with a copy of a qualification at Level 4 or above in the Australian Qualifications Framework that was awarded to you. This qualification must have been delivered in English; OR,
- Complete an approved language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) assessment and display competence at or above Exit Level 3 in the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) in both literacy and numeracy.
