Diploma of Agriculture
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification describes the skills and knowledge for management job roles in agriculture, including managing livestock production, crop production and advice.
Individuals with this qualification take personal responsibility and exercise autonomy in undertaking complex work. They must analyse information and exercise judgement to complete a range of advanced skilled activities.
This qualification applies to individuals with existing agriculture industry experience and technical skills and knowledge gained through training or employment specifically in the agriculture industry.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Age: 16 plus
Academic Requirement:
- Completion of equivalent to certificate IV or higher, Year 12 equivalent completed, or currently employed in the Agriculture Industry, with at least 36 months equivalent employment.
English Proficiency Requirement:
- all candidates must complete a Language Literacy & Numeracy Assessment, assessed by the Language Studies Department.
