Certificate IV in Youth Work
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course will enable you to engage effectively with young people and work alongside them to meet their needs and goals. Take the opportunity to gain the skills you need to work in this challenging but rewarding sector.
Chisholm requires learners to complete one placement of 80 hours in stage 2 of the course at a range of community, government and youth services agencies.

On campus

Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
A NDIS Workers Screeners check may be required for some placement opportunities., Admission requirements are completion of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 2 - working level 3, for both literacy and numeracy, applicants must possess or be able to obtain a current Working with Children Check and a satisfactory National Police Check, attend orientation prior to commencing the course, Chisholm requires learners to complete one placement of 80 hours in stage 2 of the course, Minimum 18 years of age to enrol in this course, Student Enquiry and Enrolment Services team may refer enrolment applications to the Community and Social Services Department and applicant may be required to attend an interview.
