Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of workers who have lived experience of mental illness as either a consumer or carer and who work in mental health services in roles that support consumer peers or carer peers. Workers are employed in the mental health sector in government, public, private or community managed services.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 80 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency.

About Response Employment and Training
Response Employment and Training is a Northern Territory based locally owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We offer both Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) and non accredited programs.
We provide training and assessment services for community service and health organisations, Government, individual businesses and jobseekers to obtain much-needed workplace skills and knowledge.
We provide our training in urban, regional, remote and very remote locations across the Northern Territory.
Our other areas of service delivery include Indigenous pre-employment programs and ongoing accredited training delivery with the support of the Northern Territory Government. We employ a team of highly qualified and experienced people who are diverse and pride themselves on delivering excellence.
