Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of chefs and cooks who have a supervisory or team-leading role in the kitchen. They operate independently or with limited guidance from others and use discretion to solve non-routine problems.
This qualification provides a pathway to work in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops, or to run a small business in these sectors.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Satisfactory completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent (for International Students–satisfactory completion of studies in applicant’s home country equivalent to an Australian Year 12 qualification is required for entry into all qualifications).
Minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent, OR, A minimum of two (2) years of study at an AQF Level 4 or higher completed in Australia.
