Certificate IV in Glass and Glazing

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Glass is being utilised more in the built environment than ever before, and there is enormous potential to create innovative and contemporary uses of designed glazing, particularly as a contemporary architectural element.

Melbourne Polytechnic’s Certificate IV in Glass and Glazing MSF40418 qualification provides a career pathway by building on glass skills previously acquired, and adding in specific business skills to the practical skill and design base. It progresses the professional development of the glazing and designed glazing sectors by providing a qualification which trains a glass artist, maker or practitioner to develop both their glass practice and their business skills to a level which will enable them to work in the sector in a leading role or develop their own business to a professional level, thus adding to the level of competency and skill available in the glass sector.
