The Certificate IV in Education Support is a nationally recognised qualification that supports strong foundational skills and knowledge relevant to the student support industry. This qualification will also equip you with specialist understandings in how to support students on the Autistic Spectrum and deepen teaching abilities in literacy and numeracy within educational programs.
This course requires practical work placement. Chisholm can assist in organising work placement within a variety of educational settings. If you are currently working or volunteering within an educational service, this setting could be used to achieve placement requirements.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Admission requirements are completion of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 3 - working level 4, for both literacy and numeracy, Applicants must be 17 years and 3 months, of school leaving age or have a transition from school form.
All students under 18 years of age must have parental agreement., Students are required to have a current Working with Children check as it will be required for professional workplace experience, students must be able to complete 100 hours of work placement in the South East or Mornington Peninsula regions
