Certificate IV in Disability Support (Traineeship)

Certificate IV in Disability traineeship will give you a real-life hands-on experience of working with people with disabilities. Our course is structured to give you the best possible knowledge through training both at the TAFE campus and workplace experiences. This course is offered to people who are already qualified in individual support and are working in the disability sector as a trainee.

This course prepares students to support clients in a range of settings including client's homes. The course will give you the skills to provide person-centered support that sims to empower people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self reliance, community participation and well-being.

Entry requirements

Domestic Students

  • There are no mandated entry requirements.
You must be employed as a trainee with a registered employer to commence this course. You must also have completed the Certificate III in Individual Support - CHC33021. Additional requirements may apply.
