Certificate IV in Disability Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The course focuses on disability support workers who support and empower people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence and wellbeing.
Our program promotes a person-centred approach and gives participants the skills and knowledge to work within a disability services framework. The course also reflects SAL Consulting’s position as one of the few organisations offering a neurodevelopmental, attachment and trauma informed (NATI) approach.
This program is delivered as an online, self-paced program. Learners will have regular monthly tutorials with their assessor. We can also develop individual assessment pathways for people with RPL and/or credit transfers or people who need additional support.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
There is a formal entry requirement for this qualification, the Certificate III in Individual Support CHC33021.
We do have an RPL process that addresses this entry requirement. It will take approximately a further 6 months to complete.
We anticipate you are already working in the industry and can provide some workplace examples as part of your assessment tasks.
